I love how she positioned the sentiment onto the talk bubble and the inking applied around the edge really make this custom made embellishment POP!
Anna then created a high contrast border accent using the same inking technique on a piece of card stock she cut out using the Chained die layered over a black strip of paper, for the poolside chicken to dive off from. That is assuming he’s not too chicken to get into the water!!!
I love how she incorporated the two mini envelopes into her scrapbook page layout, giving this project an extra special feature – little places to store mini mementos or notes! And the gem and pearl stud closures she added to the mini envelopes really take it up a notch!
To bling this project up in honor of her fabulous friend, she used the Fabulous die to make her own custom embellishment with chipboard, glitter and ultra thick embossing enamel. I love how this project lets Genevive’s unique personal style shine through!
What I love about this card is how Vivian used the Chained shapes to evoke her own personal style! The colors and patina are very sophisticated and the juxtaposition of the different textures lend itself to a really high end, earthy, distressed and almost steam-punk vibe!
Whats great about the shape cutting tools that I’ve designed for Sizzix is that they can be used to create all kinds of projects to suit your individual sense of style, whether its glamorous, bohemian, retro or even steampunk! The possibilities are truly endless! Enjoy Vivian’s video tutorial showing how to make this beautiful card!
