You Are Fabulous And So Is This Card!

Hilary Kanwischer used her creativity and sewing skills to create this beautiful handmade card with a cool and casual country vibe! I love how she incorporated a variety of custom embellishments including the sparkling silver center sentiment created using the Fabulous die from the Modern Surrealist licensed line of shape cutters for Sizzix!

Hilary made clever use of the holes on each end of the Fabulous script by using them to connect the piece to the card with brads, resulting in a very polished detail and eliminating the need for any adhesives! And I especially love her machine stitching accent around the heart opening! It’s such a joy to see all of these designers having fun creating with the shape cutters I’ve designed and expressing their very diverse sense of style! Stay tuned for more inspiring project ideas coming soon featuring the Modern Surrealist for Sizzix licensed line of shape cutting tools!

Unicorn Greeting Card by Tiffany Johnson

I love this high visually stunning greeting card created by designer Tiffany Johnson for the iHeartArtBlog. She cut the unicorn out of adhesive rhinestone sheets from The Buckle Boutique using the Majestic Unicorn die from the new Modern Surrealist for Sizzix collection of licensed shape cutting tools. I love how the black elements stand out against the bright white and the subtle use of color is brilliant! Tiffany was even so kind as to provide a video tutorial showing how to create this beautiful masterpiece yourself! Check it out!
