PhotoBook Creator by Unibind – Product Review by Modern Surrealist

I recently had the pleasure of trying out the wonderfully versatile PhotoBook Creator by Unibind! I must say this is a great product! It was so fun and easy to use! The great thing about it is that it is very forgiving! You can easily add and remove pages, or rearrange the pages simply by heating up the binding, which you can do over and over again! It is really fun for all ages, although adult supervision is required for the heating of the book spine in the machine. I highly recommend the PhotoBook Creator by Unibind for anyone who wants to take their scrapbooking and memory keeping to the next level! It helps you make beautiful handmade books and the machine itself also makes a great gift for the scrapper in your life who already has it all! Check it out!

WHAT IS CLUB ROYALTY?

Q: What is Club Royalty you ask?

A: This is a club just for Charitable Crafters! And you get to chose how involved you want to be. It’s all about Charity, Crafting and Sharing and how we can use our love of Creativity to tie them all together! Here is how it works:

CHARITY

Each 3 month cycle we will give you 3 Charitable Challenges to do– one each month. The challenges will vary and can be something like: Taking blankets to a homeless shelter, Making handmade cards for the troops overseas, or Taking flowers to a nursing home to cheer up their lobby!

CRAFTING

You can stop there and feel great about giving of yourself once a month or take photos or journal about your experience then create something to document your charitable act. It can be: A Scrapbook Page, Quilt, Video, Collage, Painting, Book, Doll, the sky is the Limit!

SHARING

Creating is so therapeutic and for some people, it is just for them but if you want to share you can upload a photo of your creation to our gallery and each cycle we will have lots of special gifts to giveaway from the amazing manufacturers, artists, and scrapbook stores that support Scrapbook Royalty! We will randomly choose as many winners as we can!

There are lots of other perks too such as: Special manufacturer discounts just for members, Special video tutorials from amazing artists sharing their charitable acts and their creations, An online forum on the SBR website just for Club Royalty members to connect, share their stories and encourage each other’s volunteer efforts, and other special bonuses throughout the year.

The cost to join is just a small $20 donation per cycle. There is no commitment, there are no requirements. You can do as little or as much as you want. If you just want to donate $20 per cycle we are grateful for that too! It’s all about Charity, Crafting and Sharing and how Club Royalty uses our love of Creativity to tie them all together!

See all the colors here! Extreme Glitter is a very versatile product with so many different creative applications! Just painting it on top of anything really kicks the bling factor up a notch! Check out this Original Project Design by Modern Surrealist Marisa Pawelko called “Blinged-Out Coke Bottle” featuring Extreme Glitter!!! This easy and affordable project turns the kitschy iconic Coke bottle into a beautiful objet d’art!

It’s so easy to do! Here’s all you need:

Coke Bottle

Masking Tape

Westcott Hobby Knife

Paint Brushes (1 medium and 1 fine)

PLAID Extreme Glitter Acrylic Paint in Emerald

PLAID Extreme Glitter Acrylic Paint in Red

Art Glitter Designer Dries Clear Adhesive

Art Glitter Metal Tip Applicator

Art Glitter Dazzlers in Biker Babes

Rhinestone Trim

Here (above) is a picture of what the bottle looked like before…

Instructions: Use masking tape to mask off the center label portion of the coke bottle. Apply PLAID Extreme Glitter Acrylic Paint in Emerald to the outside of the bottle. Let dry. Repeat until desired level of opacity is achieved. When dry use a Westcott Hobby Knife to cut the dried paint from the masking tape, so when you peel off the tape it does not peel up the paint. Using a fine tip brush, apply PLAID Extreme Glitter Acrylic Paint in Red to the label area of the bottle. Carefully apply Art Glitter Designer Dries Clear Adhesive with the Art Glitter Metal Tip Applicator over the words Coca-Cola and sprinkle on Art Glitter Dazzlers in Biker Babes. Let dry. Cut two pieces of rhinestone trim to fit the top and bottom borders of the label area. Run a line of Art Glitter Designer Dries Clear Adhesive to the top and bottom borders of the label area and apply trim. Let dry. Repeat on sides, allowing bottle to dry before turning. Makes a great vase, candle holder or paperweight!
